It's hard to believe Christmas has come and gone! It always does though. The holiday season is a busy one and it always flies by. Here is how we celebrated.
Right before Thanksgiving we put up our tree. Don't you love how Lizzie is wearing shorts?! Gotta love Houston. :)
Totally random of my girls wearing new dresses with huge bows. :)
Another random of Jake and his girls...they love him. :)
We took the girls to see Santa at Bass Pro. We really talked him up, in hopes that Lizzie wouldn't scream and cry. She was so excited to go see him and tell him what she wanted to get for Christmas!
Of course, when we got there, it was a different story. She wanted nothing to do with him and they had to bring a chair out for her to sit in next to Santa. Ellie did great though!
Elizabeth's preschool group did a Nativity play. She was a cute little sheep. They acted out the nativity and then sang some Christmas songs. So cute!!
One night we went to a local church's "Journey to Bethlehem." It was so fun to be transported back in time and walk through Bethlehem. The church members did a great job acting and we really enjoyed our "journey." It was a little cold and rainy but we still had a wonderful time. It was a great way to get into the true spirit of Christmas.
Lizzie and I baked goodies for our friends too. She loves to bake with mommy and I love my little helper!
We packed up and headed to Sherman the weekend before Christmas. More to come on that soon! :)
