I can't believe my baby girl is 18 months old. Time has totally flown. This is such a fun age, but it's also a busy one. Ellie is everywhere, loves getting in to things, runs around laughing and disappears for moments at a time doing who knows what. When I find her, she's usually into something she shouldn't be but when she grins at me, it's really hard to discipline. She is talking more, and we're starting to understand more. Her favorite word is momma and she says it ANYTIME she wants something or is upset. Even if I'm nowhere near. We're having so much fun learning new things, like colors and animals/animal noises. She loves to read...her favorite book actually doesn't have words, just pictures. She likes for me to ask her to point to a picture (flower, ball, duck, etc) and is excited for herself when she finds it. :) She is a picky eater and doesn't eat a whole lot but considering she's still just a few pounds lighter than her sister, I think we're good. :) We went to the doctor last week and she got a clean bill of health. The doctor actually called her perfect and we have to agree! (Sometimes!)
18 month stats:
Weight: 25lbs 15oz (86th percentile)
Height: 33.5 inches (93rd percentile)
For comparison, Elizabeth was 19lbs, 7oz (1 percentile), 30.75 inches (24th percentile).
We're in 2T clothes and size 6-7 shoes. It's crazy how much faster she's gone through sizes than Lizzie. Ellie is wearing clothes now at 18 months, that Lizzie was wearing at age 3. :)
