15 Months

I finally got the holiday post done, now it's time to knock out the 15 month blog.  Here we go!

It's hard to believe that Elizabeth is 15 months old.  These months really do fly by.  She gets bigger and bigger every day and learns SO much.  She is so observant and it just takes one time of her watching us do something for her to get the hang of it.  We've learned to be pretty cautious! :)  We went to the doctor for her well check and got a wonderful clean bill of health.  Here are her stats:

Height:  29.25" (16th percentile)
Weight:  20 lb (10th percentile)
Head: 17" (38th percentile)

I could spend all day listing the things Elizabeth is doing these days but it changes constantly.  She loves to have fun and be silly...hanging upside down, dancing, laughing, tickle fights, peek a boo and silly noises are some of her favorites.  She likes to be INDEPENDENT.  She wants to feed herself, she helps me dress her and undress her, she loves to walk and run and explore (especially outside), she wants to climb things on her own and doesn't mind falling.  She has a mind of her own and we love that about her.  Elizabeth is a picky eater and is so tiny so we don't mind giving her some yummy treats like ice cream and cookies some times. :)  She loves to sleep in her crib and never fusses during nap time.  She sleeps about 10-11 hours at night.  Elizabeth LOVES bath time but HATES having her hair washed. She loves to babble and we constantly are hearing "mama mama mama"...even if she's not talking to me.  She points to what she wants and signs "please."  She also signs thank you (rare), more and GIG EM!  Her development for a 15 month old is right on target if not a big advanced (and that's coming from the doctor, not Elizabeth's braggy mother!).

Here are a few pictures from the past few months...enjoy! :)  We'll be back at 18 months to check back in.
