Elizabeth Update...

We took Elizabeth to the doctor on Friday. It was her six week birthday...six weeks has flown by!!

She weighs 8 lbs 13 oz (23 percentile)
She is 21 inches long (27 percentile)
Her head is 14.5 inches in circumference (31 percentile)

So yes, she's pretty small but she was two weeks early...and she's just my petite little girl!! The doctor did say her growth was perfect...and I agree considering at ther two week appointment she was in the 1 percentile for head circumference! Way to GROW girl!!

Elizabeth went ahead and got her two month vaccines while we were there. She was a champ! She did the oral vaccine first and did not like it..she just let it sit in her throat and wouldn't swallow...but we finally got that down and then came the 5 vaccines..luckily they combine them into 3 shots. She of course screamed while getting them but calmed down as soon as I picked her up and calmed her down. I took it like a champ too. :) Something they didn't warn me about..taking off the band aids. They need to use different bandaids on babies or someone needs to invent some that don't hurt when you take them off!! I had to have Jake do it. But again as soon as they were off she was fine. Tough little girl!

We went for a walk after church on Sunday since it was a nice day (yes, we're still having 70 degree weather in Texas in November..actually today it was in the 80's...). Her stroller seat reclines all the way down so she can just lay in it instead of going through the hassle of strapping her into the carseat and then snapping the carseat in the stroller (and technically she should have been buckled in to the seat even though she was laying down...but she did just fine without it). Anyways..she just loved laying there looking up at the sky (as you can see in the picture). She had been fussy but calmed right down when we got moving. Great family outing!!
