Bath Time

Elizabeth LOVES the water. Judging by the first few baths she got as a newborn, we would have never guessed that. But who likes sponge baths anyways?? She loved her infant tub. Bath time could last forever when she was in that thing. But a couple of months ago when she was learning to crawl and pull up, Elizabeth got to the point where she started trying to climb out of it. Slippery baby + water = Falls. I decided she was just ready for her big girl tub. So now she takes baths like a big girl and loves it even more. She is quite the swimmer. When she's on her tummy in the pool she paddles her arms and kicks her legs. Being in the bathtub is no different. Elizabeth gets a bath pretty much every night as it's part of her bedtime routine and I'm pretty sure it's her favorite part of the day!!

Last night we went to the neighborhood pool right before bedtime. When we got home I put her right into the bathtub and decided to snap a few pics before I took her swimsuit off. She has too much fun!! Enjoy...



All of these letters go straight into her mouth. She is like a little puppy dog with them hanging out her mouth. :)

If you look at the water you can see how much she was kicking and playing....it's splashing everywhere!!

She also loves to suck the water off the washcloth. Gross. But she's smart enough to suck the water off, put it back in the water to get it wet again, then repeat. Silly, silly girl. We love her though!!
