Just so you know...Spring Fever DOES exist! Spring Break could not have come at a better time. The kids needed it, the teachers needed it...everyone needed it! And it was a nice preview of what's to come when I'm a stay at home mommy...amazing.
After Brooke and Ryan went home on Sunday we spent the next couple of days just getting things done here in Katy. I had doctor appointments, errands, shopping, etc. We headed up to Sherman to see my family on Wednesday. We hadn't been back since Christmas so it was so good to see almost everyone again.
My mom, sister and I took Chloe and Elizabeth to the Dallas Arboretum on Thursday. Did you know you feel a good 10 degrees hotter when you're pushing a stroller, chasing babies and carrying a diaper bag? :) We had so much fun and Chloe and Elizabeth absolutely loved the flowers and bright colors everywhere. Elizabeth would live outside if we let her so she was just content to be out in the beautiful sunshine. We have knockout roses growing in our backyard and Jake has taught Elizabeth how to smell them so she went around the Arboretum smelling all of the flowers...so cute! Not only does she breathe in when she smells, she also breathes out. :) Here are a few pics from that day..
Elizabeth has trouble sleeping when it's not her very own bed..so she was up until 11 that night...but was content to rock with Uncle Ross and catch up on American Idol :)
Happy Spring!
