The Bye Bye Routine

Elizabeth's vocabulary is starting to grow...her favorite words include uh oh, momma, dada, baba and bye bye. She has to say bye bye a lot....she says it in the mornings to daddy when we leave the house, then to me when I leave her at Missy's and then to Missy when I pick her up in the afternoons. But those are the only times she'll do her bye bye routine. She won't do it with anyone else! Here's how it goes...

Me: time to go bye bye!
Elizabeth starts blowing kisses and saying bye bye and waving bye...she does these over and over in random order and it's precious. As soon as she hears somebody say "bye bye" she starts with with kisses, waves and bye byes. Too cute...

This morning I had her in her Bumbo (yes she still fits in it!) while I was giving her breakfast. She doesn't get to watch too much TV but when she does I turn on the Sprout network. Caillou was on and her face just lit up. She loves TV! About midway through the show Caillou said "bye bye" and Elizabeth started in on her byebye routine with Caillou...I started cracking up so Elizabeth did too. Our little girl is so cute! I wish we had a video camera on her every second of every day to catch those precious little moments.

I've been so super busy and behind on blogging but I'll try to catch up today...I've got lots of updates about our one year old!!
