15 Months

Ellisyn turned 15 months old on December 16th.  These past few months since she turned 1 have brought so much growth and development.  She's walking everywhere, talking, getting in to things, climbing, screaming, changing....you name it she's doing it. :)

Height:  31.75" (86th percentile)
Weight:  25lb 1oz (90th percentile)

By comparison, Elizabeth was 29.25" (16%) and 20lb (10%).

Ellie is so independent.  She refuses to eat unless she's feeding herself.  Which makes things difficult since she can hold a fork but hasn't mastered actually using it.  Don't get me started on trying spoons.  She is also a momma's girl though.  She loves to be held and cuddled but only on her terms.  If she wants down, you better put her down or she'll find a way to throw herself out of your arms.  She's mastered the tantrum and throws herself to the ground crying when she doesn't get what she wants.  She loves to follow Lizzie around and do what she's doing which doesn't always please Lizzie. :)  She is still a great nightime sleeper but has recently dropped a nap which has not been good.  She still needs that nap because she's such a grouch if she doesn't get it.  We're working on that.  She's a picky little eater so I was surprised she weighed 25 pounds.  It's hard to get her to eat these days, unless it's chocolate. Definitely my girl.  She says momma, dada, Lizzie (zizzie), gigi, pa pa, meme, popa, byebye, night night (ni ni), thank you, please, down, and lots of babbles that I like to deciper as words but have no idea if I'm right. :)
