...Less than one year to go!!! On January 27, 2010 my brother entered the Missionary Training Center to begin his two year mission for our church. This past year really has flown by and I didn't think it would. Ross is one of my best friends and to not be able to see him for 2 years is a really hard thing for me to be ok with. But I am so proud of him and his dedication to the Lord to sacrifice two years to serve Him. Ross will come back next January in time to start the spring semester at A&M and we are definitely counting down the days!! Though we've missed him so much, he is in the right place doing the right thing right now and we wouldn't have it any other way. I can tell from his letters and our back and forth conversations on Tuesdays that he is the same old fun-loving, humorous, easy-going Ross that we all know and love. But he has also changed so much. He has become so much more mature and just plain smart. He has learned so much over the past year and will continue to learn and grow during this next one too.
We get to Skype with Ross in May for Mothers Day and are SOOO excited. He'll be able to see the babies move and talk instead of just pictures...and we'll get to see him!!
So here's to the next year flying by...love you Ross!!!
